Spark has been awarded a National Lottery Community Fund grant over the next five years to continue our Bright Beginnings and Grow & Thrive project work! Bright Beginnings – Grow & Thrive will continue to support primarily young families in the community with peer support sessions, activities and events.
We know that making connections at Spark is so important for so many people, and this funding will enable Spark to continue having such a positive impact.
You may not know, but we have to find (and will continue to find) funding support for everything that we want to do. The funding from the lottery goes towards our core costs which are the essential costs to keep a charity running.
In February we found out we had our previous 3 years of project funding extended to another 5 years which has made us jump for joy! We would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone that has been part of Spark the last ten years.
Our Spark team are INCREDIBLE. To reach Spark’s 10 year milestone and to be recognised with this support from The National Lottery Community Fund is huge for Spark as a small charity. So whatever part you have played in Spark, we would like to say thank you!
