We’ve recently held two fantastic Parent Champion meetings and were so pleased with how positive and productive they were.
It was wonderful to see parents coming together to share their experiences, ideas and honest feedback about Spark – what’s working well and how Spark can support families even more.
Our Parent Champions help us stay community-led. They’re friendly faces in sessions, offer peer support, gather feedback and help shape future activities – keeping families’ voices at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking forward to formally introducing them very soon.
We’ll also always be looking to welcome new Parent Champions, so if you’re interested, please let us know by contacting rosiedutton@sparkburntwood.org
The meetings inspired this month’s Your Voice question: “When you first arrive at Spark, what helps you feel comfortable?” It might be a friendly greeting, knowing what activities are available, seeing a familiar face, or anything else that makes a difference to you. Share your thoughts by completing a feedback slip in centre or messaging us via social media.

Your experiences help us keep Spark warm, welcoming and supportive for everyone.
