In 2024 Keon Homes Limited were celebrating their 5 for 5! Supporting 5 causes for their 5th birthday – which was a fantastic idea!
Ben Sharp (pictured above) came to visit Spark and find out all about what we do and our plans and visions for improving the lives of local children and families. When he saw our very tired (or well loved!) courtyard and the plans we had for making a great play area – Ben knew this was the area Keon could really help.
Ben came up with the mad idea of cycling for 24 hours to raise funds for Spark! The team were amazing and there was a fun and healthy competition between the three teams of cyclists. They raised a fantastic amount which was then match funded by the Noel Sweeney Foundation and Keon Homes Limited totalling £14,546!
Which means Spark can now go ahead with a new play area – and we’ve asked our children and families to help design it.

Our new play area will be used by over 1200 local families each year so it will really be well loved and utilised by local children!
