During the Easter holidays, we welcomed over 40 children (and their grown-ups!) to our centre for a very special visit from Farm on Wheels.
We had a whole host of furry and feathered friends to meet, including a calf, three lambs, rabbits, a chicken and chicks, and even a couple of very friendly rats!
Children got hands-on with feeding and walking the lambs, cuddling rabbits, and for the brave ones – letting a rat run down their arm (yes, a few grown-ups joined in too!).
Families also enjoyed farm-themed play activities inside the centre, making it a fun-filled day of learning, exploring, and connection.
We’re so grateful to BBC Children in Need for funding this event and helping us offer it completely free for our families. A big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special day!
