We’d like to say a huge thank you to the incredible team from B&Q Cannock – Leah, Matt, Sam, Greg, Colin and Chenelle – who recently volunteered their time to support Spark.
On what turned out to be a very warm day, the team got stuck in straight away, bringing energy, enthusiasm and a real sense of community spirit.
In the morning, they worked hard in our Spark Garden, refreshing furniture, painting the fence, and giving the buggy shelter roof and garden chairs a thorough clean. Their efforts helped to brighten and revitalise a space that is enjoyed by so many local families.
But they didn’t stop there.
In the afternoon, the team continued their amazing work in our courtyard – jet washing toys and giving all of our wooden furniture a fresh new look. Thanks to their dedication, these well-used resources are now clean, safe and ready to be enjoyed again.
Their hard work and kindness will make a lasting difference to the families who access our services, helping us to create welcoming, safe and enjoyable environments for children and their carers.
We are so grateful for their support and for the time they chose to give to Spark. It truly shows the impact that community partnerships and volunteering can have.
